A glamorous woman returns to her small town in rural Australia. With her sewing machine and haute couture style, she transforms the women and exacts sweet revenge on those who did her wrong.

→ A film about love, revenge and haute couture.
→ Revenge is back in fashion
→ She left town in disgrace. Now she’s back in style.
→ Secrets, gossip and scandal are back in fashion.

→ Kate Winslet and Judy Davis had a hard time keeping a straight face while filming the scene where Liam Hemsworth strips off to get a measurement.
→ This film marked the first time Liam Hemsworth used his native Australian accent in a film.
→ Liam Hemsworth came into shooting later, as he was doing promo for The Hunger Games films. He was quite nervous and intimidated acting alongside Oscar-winner Kate Winslet, but she put him at ease quickly. Hemsworth appreciated working with a lot of seasoned actors and said that he learnt a lot from them all.
→ Liam Hemsworth says he connected to the character of Teddy because “he reminded me of a lot of people I grew up with- my grandpa in particular.”
→ Liam Hemsworth went on a very restricted diet for the shirtless scene, and did pushups in his trailer just prior to shooting that specific scene. Kate Winslet noted: “When I would get to the point where I had to measure his waist, I would actually hear his stomach growling. I would think ‘Poor darling. Let’s get the scene done.'”
